The View from Here
I heard people are saying “New York is over”. I moved here in August of 2001. We all know what happened a month after that. I was in Dallas on a project and all I kept saying was “I just want to go home”. I didn’t know what I would find when I got back here, but the biggest thing I remember was the sense of camaraderie that pervaded the streets. Almost 20 years later I guess I’m a New Yorker. 😷
