My hope for NYC is rooted in my identity as the 315th living black female architect of the United States, born and raised in Queens, New York.

My vision for NYC is to eradicate racist and oppressive structures that plague our great city. Hand and hand with the community, designers imagine and create a just city of architecture that serves, supports, inspires, and reflects the diverse cultural identities of New Yorkers. This collaborative process would result in a built environment that captures and spatially embeds our past contributions, present needs, and future aspirations.
