NYCxDESIGN: The Magazine in partnership with The Shade Store

NYCxDESIGN: The Magazine is the first publication created entirely by the most creative minds of New York City.

Through various Open Calls and submitted articles, The Magazine highlights over 70+ contributors in each issue. The digital magazine is beautifully produced on an interactive web platform that engages users at every click.

May 2021

The May 2021 issue of the digital magazine will be exclusively “in partnership with” by The Shade Store. With full Share of Voice on the platform between May – July 2021, your brand will have access to a robust promotional package in addition to custom storytelling for The Shade Store. As we all go inward for the Winter months, NYCxDESIGN: The Magazine will give an opportunity for designers to look outward. NYCxDESIGN: The Magazine will announce an Open Call for imagery and stories from NYC designers themed “A View from my Window”  in partnership with The Shade Store. We’ll collect amazing imagery showcasing the window designs of our community’s homes and workspaces. The NYCxDESIGN team will curate a selection of responses to be featured as a section in the May 2021 digital issue of The Magazine.

Package fee: $40,000

Enhancement opportunity to build out a DesignTV video series titled “A View from my Window”  in partnership with The Shade Store with interviews and tours of designer spaces that are highlighted in the Magazine, in addition to select Shade Store designer partners.

  • A series of four one-on-one conversations between NYCxDESIGN or SANDOW editor and designers to talk about their window designs featured in The Magazine (4x 15-20 minute episodes)
  • Streamed on DesignTV by SANDOW
  • Featured on NYCxDESIGN social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Featured in NYCxDESIGN eblasts and as featured content on the homepage of

Enhancement fee: $20,000 (discounted from $30,000 as part of The Magazine digital sponsorship)

Elevating The Magazine partnership one step further, the first annual print edition of NYCxDESIGN: The Magazine will debut in May 2021 as a collector’s keepsake item. The print piece will be available for purchase as a fundraiser for NYCxDESIGN’s Grant Fund to support entrepreneurship in independent design.
