For NYCxDESIGN Festival 2024, Artemest, the digital destination that offers unrivalled access to the world of Italian craftsmanship and design, unveils its Spring Edit at Artemest Galleria.
The outdoors of the Galleria has been adorned with exquisite outdoor furnishings, lighting, décor, and lush greenery. Seamlessly blending indoor comfort with outdoor aesthetics, this alfresco oasis offers a serene escape, and invites guests to bask in its tranquil ambiance and savor the beauty of Italian craftsmanship and design amidst the cityscape. The outdoor setting has been decorated with various furniture groups, including two lounge areas and a dining area featuring contemporary zinc-coated metal furnishings by Dante Negro, elegant rough iron furniture by DMG Fiesole, and handcrafted cement tables by Forma & Cemento. The ambiance is inspired by earthy tones, which can be found in Sahrai’s outdoor rugs, complemented by the warm lighting emanating from Jwana Hamdan and Contardi Lighting’s sculptural lanterns.Visitors will continue their discovery of new in furniture and décor pieces born from the creative vision and skill of some of the finest Italian artisans inside Artemest Galleria. New additions include seating by Paolo Castelli in delicate ivory colored fabric, bringing light to the space. The renewed interior also features a travertine bespoke dining table by Giosuè Giaquinto, complementing the neutral hues of the surrounding furnishings, as well as a glamorous coffee table showcasing the beauty of black marble by Zanaboni, and armchairs by Giopagani upholstered with Rubelli fabric.
Within this context of excellence, Artemest will also present an exclusive showcase of pieces from Prada Home collection. The dining table by Cimento will be set up with charger, soup, dinner, and dessert plates in fine porcelain with aesthetic references from past and present in four stunning patterns and colors, from the black and white checkerboard motif to the delicate celadon nuance and a modernist geometric print inspired by Viennese architect Josef Hoffman, each characterizing one of the place settings. Completing the table is a curated selection of stainless-steel flatware with sleek and strong silhouettes and a geometric handle which recalls the iconic Prada logo, along with contemporary and minimalist wine glasses, tumblers and champagne coupes crafted from hand-blown Bohemia crystal. Prada Home decor and lifestyle pieces such as elegant gaming sets, collectible plates decorated with two original artworks by American artist John Wesley, and throw pillows made from premium fabrics like cashmere and wool, will adorn the custom shelving unit handmade especially for Artemest Galleria by wood artist Giuseppe Rivadossi.
Every corner of the space is a testament to thoughtful curation, showcasing a captivating array of furniture, décor, and art pieces that ignite the imagination and stir the soul. With its grand unveiling timed to coincide with the start of NYCxDesign Festival, the Galleria sets the stage for an unforgettable exploration of Italian design excellence, extending a warm invitation to all who seek to revel in the unparalleled allure of Italian craftsmanship.
