Beyond our annual Festival, our year-round programming provides a platform for NYC’s diverse design talent, from students and emerging designers to seasoned professionals. Each program fosters connection, education, and inspiration, empowering the next generation to use design as a powerful tool for positive impact and addressing the world’s most pressing needs.
Green Open House

Check-in at Building 77 (141 Flushing Ave at Vanderbilt Ave)
Step inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard and explore more than a dozen businesses working in green design and industry. Attendees will have opportunities to learn about the use of sustainable sourcing and materials, see low-carbon production techniques, innovative solutions to recycling and adaptive reuse, and see products designed to combat climate change. Between learning about green industry directly from innovators and entrepreneurs, attendees can enjoy food, games, music, and one-of-a-kind views on the Brooklyn waterfront.
