The HIDA Isu Installation

A select installation of works by Hida, the Japanese brand crafting elegant and intentional furniture for over 100 years, presented in partnership with New York’s Studio Guapo.

The installation highlights key pieces from Hida’s collection and the work of the globally influential Japanese designer and Hida collaborator Sori Yanagi and other Japanese designers, complemented with vintage pieces curated by Rarify and lighting by Ingo Maurer.
Hida’s legacy of forward-thinking and timeless design is more relevant than ever. This installation brings the brand together with the vibrant NYC design community through a series of dynamic events and limited edition collaborative merchandise with Studio Guapo, celebrating Hida’s core mission and Sori Yanagi’s historic significance.
The event is powered by Pink Essay, a design platform dedicated to building radical design culture.
