Sonia Delaunay: Living Art

Bard Graduate Center Gallery 18 West 86th St., New York City

Sonia Delaunay (1885–1979) was one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. Living Art comprises almost 200 objects, including textiles, furniture, books, and mosaics, reflecting Delaunay’s kaleidoscopic output through all periods of her career from the early Parisian avant-garde of the 1910s to the spirited 1970s.

Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within

Noguchi Museum 9-01 33rd Road, Long Island City

The largest retrospective ever devoted to the artist, ‘Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within’ features approximately 200 works in ceramics, weaving, painting, bronze casting, and printmaking, spanning six decades of Takaezu’s prolific career.
