Making New York Safer for Birds: The Impact of Bird-Friendly Design and Legislation

Each year, an estimated 250,000 birds are killed after colliding with buildings in New York City. This event will bring together architectural, conservation, and materials and manufacturing perspectives to explore findings and lessons learned from applying bird safe design principles to the built environment, including on projects designed under Local Law 15 of 2020.
