TRACES / PLATEAU

MATERIA 305 Canal St PH5, New York City, United States

During NYCxDesign week, the lighting and furniture design studio MATERIA will present its inaugural exhibition in the MATERI(A)RT series, TRACES, by mixed media artist Malkia Williams. MATERIA’s SoHo, New York gallery will also be showcasing its newly launched PLATEAU table and floor lamp collection; at once inspired by antique marine implements and the layered sedimentary landscape of the New England coastline, and comprised of a strata of entirely custom brass, linen, parchment and paper components.
