“Becoming” Art & Design Festival, presented by NotYetArt for NYCxDESIGN, is a curated exhibition that invites artists and designers from diverse backgrounds to respond to the theme of Becoming — an ongoing state of formation, transformation, and creative evolution.

Organized into two curatorial sections, “Becoming Art” and “Becoming Design,” the exhibition features a selection of works across art and design. Through these works, “Becoming” explores contemporary creative practices that engage with identity, process, change, and the continuous development of artistic and design expression.

The exhibition will be on view from May 16 to May 18, 2026, offering audiences an opportunity to experience a diverse range of creative perspectives during NYCxDESIGN Week 2026.
