Tecno and PBA welcome architects and designers to Tecno’s New York showroom for an evening conversation exploring how design can create more inclusive and sustainable environments. Designing for Impact brings together industry voices to discuss how architecture, materials, and spatial systems shape the way people experience the built environment. The discussion will focus on emerging topics such as sensory-inclusive design, accessibility beyond compliance, and the role of thoughtful design in creating workplaces that support human diversity. Guest designer, Jennifer Adams, LEED AP IIDA from HLW, will join the conversation to share perspectives from contemporary practice, alongside a special guest from Understood.org, who will contribute insights drawn from professional experience and research. Together, these perspectives will offer a broader understanding of neuro-inclusion in the workplace and practical approaches to implementing meaningful change—through inclusive programs, resources, and design strategies that support individuals with diverse abilities in reaching their full potential.
