DIS:PLAY is a one-day creative tech summit at Cornell Tech that invites creatives, technologists, and founders to disrupt the display and play with the rules. Across fashion, film, music, and design, the event centers work that is raw and unapologetically experimental.
The day opens with networking and with leading creative studios, followed by hands-on workshops at the intersection of fashion × tech and film × tech. An interactive fireside chat explores what it really takes to be a creative, featuring professionals sharing unfiltered career journeys. A panel on the future of creative × tech brings together industry voices to debate where emerging tools and practices are taking us.
Startup demos spotlight new creative tools and platforms, while a dedicated music × tech conversation dives into how AI and new technologies are changing how music is made, performed, and experienced. The summit closes with keynotes on branding for creatives and the realities of building and selling creative work, offering tangible business skills for attendees.
Hosted at Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island, DIS:PLAY is designed as a space for artists, creative technologists, and start-up founders to connect, collaborate, and imagine new creative futures together.
