Future of Design Conference is a full-day gathering bringing together designers, artists, founders, technologists, students, and cultural builders exploring what design becomes in an AI-native world. Presented by 241 Members, Vibescape Corp, Somya Gupta Events, Black Style Matters, Visionbrew Interactive, and Sanders Studios NYC. This is a community-curated experience centered on real conversations, real tools, and real creative practice.
Speakers span creative agencies, art institutions, university programs, immersive studios, and emerging startups — reflecting the full spectrum of today’s design ecosystem.
The program unfolds across three core themes. Art, Identity, and the Machine explores how artists and designers use technology expressively while maintaining a human-centered approach. AI as Creative Infrastructure offers a practical look at how these tools function in real workflows — where they succeed, where they fall short, and how they integrate into creative processes. Who Gets to Build? brings together community voices and emerging designers to examine whose perspectives are shaping the tools that will define the next decade of design.
Throughout the experience, the space is activated through Vibescape and Visionbrew, transforming the environment in real time with audio-reactive visuals and interactive digital experiences.
A structured design sprint invites attendees to collaborate in small groups and leave with something tangible they created together, while social design activations — inspired by play, interaction, and experience design — turn networking into a more natural and engaging process.
