House of Santal was thrilled to open its doors for an exclusive open house. Guests came and went as they pleased throughout the day, enjoying a glass of champagne, a bite, or a coffee between appointments, and taking in newly installed works from The Vernacular Modern, in addition to pieces from Design Ni Dukaan, Karan Desai, Rhizome, Sage Living, and more.

Founded in New York by designer and curator Raksha Sanikam, House of Santal is one of the only contemporary design galleries presenting South Asian craftsmanship through a forward-looking lens, bringing together leading and emerging designers, studios, and master artisans whose work bridges legacy craft traditions with contemporary form.
