Step into il Buco Vita’s Second Street shop to experience the debut of its collaboration with interior designer and author Leanne Ford. Open daily from May 14–20, this immersive in-store presentation offers a first look at the collection, launching May 15, and invites guests to explore the full range in person throughout NYCxDesign.

Rooted in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and imperfection, the collection reimagines il Buco Vita’s most beloved tabletop and kitchen pieces through Ford’s distinctive lens. Known for her soulful, intuitive approach to design, Ford brings a restrained, earthy palette of black, cream, smoke, and chestnut to Vita’s artisanal forms, introducing a bold yet understated point of view that feels both modern and timeless.

Each piece is handmade by artisans in Italy, honoring traditional techniques while embracing a sense of ease and livability. From Montegranaro splatterware rendered in a striking black-on-cream glaze to Bevagna dinnerware with a hand-painted black rim, the collection layers subtle contrast with rich texture. Bellocchi casseroles, Collepino candles, and Pienza glassware in clear, smoke, and amber round out the offering—designed to mix, match, and live effortlessly within the home.

The presentation is designed to reflect il Buco Vita’s signature approach to entertaining: warm, collected, and deeply personal. Styled vignettes throughout the shop highlight how the pieces come together on the table and within the home, encouraging guests to experience the collection not as a static display, but as part of an ongoing narrative of gathering and daily ritual.
