Inside~Out, the fifth exhibition of outdoor design curated by Kin & Company, will be sponsored by DEDON and Gloster and hosted by Two Trees in Brooklyn (DUMBO) from May 18–22. In our increasingly distracted and isolating world, we continue to look toward design to play a key role in facilitating a nourishing future. For many of us, that future will be in urban centers like New York City—vital ecosystems filled with an exciting biodiversity of ideas, experiences, and perspectives.

Hosted on the rooftop of Two Trees Management in Dumbo, on top of the mountains of our metropolitan landscape, we reach beyond the human realm, and our perspective will shift to that of the birds, giving us access to a rich expansiveness of possibilities. Independent artists and designers will present their ideas and works for birds and humans to meet on a rooftop garden.

In support of the principal intention of fostering social connections through playful outdoor design, DEDON and Gloster will provide beautiful seating areas with nature-inspired outdoor furnishings for guests to take in the impressive works of the exhibition, discuss our critical future, and be a part of the Dumbo skyline amongst the open air and soaring bird friends.
