Step inside the future of work. The open-plan office is breaking. What comes next? Kabin and Shaw Contract present Design At Work—an immersive program of panel discussions, open house experiences, and interactive art, alongside the opportunity to recharge within Kabin’s new multi-sensory privacy pods.
A revolution in productivity and wellbeing. A new model of workplace design is emerging—one that prioritizes focus, wellbeing, and human performance. Design At Work is both a conversation and an immersive experience exploring what comes next and how design can better support the way we think and work.
Kabin and Shaw Contract convene leading voices across architecture, interiors, and media for a cross-disciplinary dialogue, including a happy hour panel hosted by Winka Dubbeldam, exploring the shift toward human-centered environments. Moving beyond one-size-fits-all workplaces, the discussion examines how offices are evolving into more intentional, multi-sensory spaces designed for privacy, safety, and cognitive clarity.
Extending beyond the conversation, Kabin founder Walter Craven invites guests into a direct experience of these ideas in action. Visitors can step inside Kabin’s new privacy pods—immersive, multi-sensory “human recharging stations” integrating acoustic control, calibrated lighting, airflow, and tactile materiality to create moments of clarity and reset within open environments. Shaw Contract will share how material systems support these environments at scale.
Additional programming includes an open house with interactive art-making, further exploring the intersection of creativity, space, and human experience. Join the movement reshaping the workplace into more intentional, multi-sensory environments that support focus, privacy, safety, and cognitive wellbeing.
