Objetos de Hojalata para el Hogar

An exhibition by Cranbrook Industrial Design students with support from Artist in Residence Leon Ransmeier and Visiting Artist Fabien Cappello. The title refers to functional objects made from rolled, embossed sheet metal by craftspeople in Guadalajara. After a collaborative workshop in Guadalajara, the students were assigned to create household objects.

A special exhibition by Cranbrook Industrial Design students with support from Artist in Residence Leon Ransmeier and Visiting Artist Fabien Cappello will be on display in the Maharam showroom from 5.14-5.28. The title refers to functional objects made from rolled and embossed sheet metal by craftspeople in Guadalajara, Mexico. After a collaborative workshop in Guadalajara, the students were assigned to create two household objects.
