Inspired by rocks, mountains, crystals and gemstones, this piece blends a hand built ceramic structure with fused and carved glass pieces. The work can function both as unique table lamp and as a magical sculpture that can accompany you on your next seance.

Mary Gattorna
Mary Gattorna is an artist based in NYC. She holds a BFA in photography from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and an MFA in Printmedia from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited photographs, collages, sculptures, films and artist books both nationally and internationally, and has also worked extensively in glass and textiles. She is a graduate of the Bead Project at Urban Glass (2019), and has participated in residencies at Arrowmont School of Craft (TN), Wassaic Project (NY), and Kriti (Varanasi, India).
Since 2016 she has been using clay as her primary medium, and in 2022 she founded Weather Report, a collection of handmade, functional ceramics. Her work is available in the Store at the Museum of Art and Design and at Urban GlassWare, as well as online.
