I’m a 16-year-old high school junior studying graphic design.
I participated in the NYC Department of Education Graphic Arts Competition because I wanted to challenge myself, improve my skills, and gain experience creating artwork that stands out. Graphic design is definitely my favorite subject, but I also enjoy History and Physics—even if they sometimes cost me a little sleep and sanity.
When I’m not busy with school, I like reading, making jewelry, playing video games, cooking, and finding inspiration for new creative projects. I’m always looking for new ideas and ways to grow as an artist.
My older siblings have been a big inspiration to me and have encouraged me to work hard, keep learning, embrace my interests, and stay true to myself. Their support has helped me become more confident in pursuing my creative goals.
I’m very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this competition and to share my work with others. It’s exciting to see where creativity can take you, and I’m looking forward to what comes next.
