NYCxDESIGN is guided by core values of community, creativity, inclusivity, diversity, and sustainable design for the greater good. Beyond our annual Festival, our year-round programming provides a platform for NYC’s diverse design talent, from students and emerging designers to seasoned professionals. Each program fosters connection, education, and inspiration, empowering the next generation to use design as a powerful tool for positive impact and addressing the world’s most pressing needs.
Guests will discover the art and architecture of the Hudson Yards campus through an engaging walking tour led by the Hudson Yards Brand Ambassadors.
The tour will explore original lobby artworks by Frank Stella and Jaume Plensa, as well as the artistic inspiration behind the Vessel, designed by Thomas Heatherwick. Using a question-based approach, the experience encourages participants to engage with each artwork on their own terms.
Guests will also gain insight into the history of Hudson Yards’ development and learn about the renowned “starchitects” who helped shape its iconic skyline.
