Book Launch + Talk – Neuroinclusive Workplaces: a Discussion on Designing for Diversity

May 20 – May 20, 5:30 PM – 7:15 PM

Join us for an insightful evening celebrating the launch of Designing Neuroinclusive Workplaces by Kay Sargent, Director of Thought Leadership, Interior at HOK.

This event offers an opportunity to delve into the book’s key findings, explore the importance of neuroinclusivity in today’s workplaces, and engage with a diverse group of experts discussing practical strategies for creating environments that welcome and support neurodivergent individuals.

Kay’s book presents groundbreaking perspectives on how organizations can rethink their practices to foster inclusivity and empower all employees, regardless of cognitive or neurological differences. During the event, Kay will provide an in-depth overview of the book’s core insights, highlighting the challenges neurodivergent individuals face in traditional work environments and outlining essential steps companies can take to build neuroinclusive cultures.

We will also hear from a distinguished panel of experts—Rachel Gutter Hodgdon, President & CEO of the International WELL Building Institute; Erica Anesi, CEO of pba; and Nathan Friedman, Co-President and Chief Marketing Officer of Understood.org—who will share their insights on the topic, drawing from both professional experience and research. Their perspectives will offer a broader understanding of neuroinclusivity in the workplace and practical strategies for meaningful implementation.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in a rich discussion about the future of workplace diversity and inclusion.

To make the evening even more special, the first 20 attendees to register and attend will receive a free copy of Designing Neuroinclusive Workplaces.
