Origins – The Heritage of Italian Design

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Archiproducts—the global network for architecture and design—presents “Origins – The Heritage of Italian Design”, a special event part of the Italian Design Week hosted at the Consulate General of Italy in New York, dedicated to the uniqueness and enduring strength of Made in Italy design worldwide.

Since its founding by four Italian professionals, Archiproducts has been a driving force behind the global promotion of Italian and international design. In collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, it launched the Virtual Showcase of Made in Italy, a successful initiative that supported over 500 Italian brands in their digital transformation and international expansion.

“Origins – The Heritage of Italian Design” will spotlight the stories of Italian entrepreneurs whose family legacies have shaped and preserved the identity of Italian design, alongside New York-based architectural studios that often choose Italian brands for their global projects—highlighting the deep and longstanding relationship between Italian design excellence and the American design community.

The United States, and New York in particular, have long embraced the values of Made in Italy, recognising its unmatched combination of style, innovation, and craftsmanship. Italian design continues to be a key reference point in the American market, influencing high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. This event will underscore that enduring connection and explore how it can evolve in today’s dynamic, design-driven economy.

This talk will explore personal narratives and shared values that have made Made in Italy synonymous with excellence—reinterpreted through a global lens to foster continued success in the international market, with a special focus on its strong positioning in the U.S.
