The Tea & Design Experience
Presented by ALT Alliance and Teasthetic
The Tea & Design Experience, co-presented by ALT Alliance and Teasthetic, invites participants on a sensory journey where traditional tea rituals intersect with contemporary design and artistic expression. This immersive session explores the calming power of tea meditation, offering insights into how mindful tea tasting can regulate emotions and alleviate stress.
Engaging the senses of sight, smell, and taste, the experience highlights the aesthetic philosophy of tea culture and its deep connections to design and art. It also fosters social connection, bringing together diverse creative minds to share stories, traditions, and inspiration around the tea table.
As part of the NYC Design Festival Spotlight, this event bridges heritage and innovation—celebrating tea as a medium for emotional well-being, artistic exploration, and meaningful dialogue.
