The NoMad Design District—New York City’s fastest-growing design hub and home to the largest concentration of independent furniture and lighting showrooms—will come alive during NYCxDESIGN 2025.

A dynamic lineup of events, exhibitions, and experiences will celebrate creativity and innovation throughout the week. Engaging talks, exciting collaborations, and the grand opening of several new showrooms will transform the district into a vibrant hub of energy and inspiration.

Many of NoMad’s leading brands will also debut new collections fresh from Salone del Mobile, offering New York a first look at the latest global design trends and a preview of what’s to come.

As one of NYC’s most vibrant design destinations, NoMad invites visitors and industry insiders alike to explore bold ideas, discover emerging talent, and engage with the future of design. Throughout the week, showrooms will welcome design professionals to experience their collections and connect with each brand’s unique perspective.

On the evening of Friday, May 16, NoMad will host an exclusive night of design, inviting professionals to wander from one curated showroom to the next. With over 20 brands participating, each showroom will showcase a distinct reflection of the neighborhood’s creative spirit. Some spaces will be open to all industry guests, while others will be accessible by invitation only—promising a wealth of discoveries and immersive experiences.

This district-wide celebration of high-end design will spotlight the very best in furniture and lighting, reinforcing NoMad’s role as a commanding force in the global design scene.
