Nordic art and design dealer Lawton Mull is thrilled to collaborate with SRI, the distinguished gallery of antique Japanese textiles, in celebration of the hand-made, the scrap-made, the repaired and revered items that elevate daily life to everyday art in Japan and Scandinavia. New acquisitions from SRI’s most recent sourcing trip to Japan will appear in conversation with Nordic furniture and textiles, works by 20th century Scandinavian artists, and several new designs by Lawton Mull including a Monument Side Table, a new iteration of the Quarry Seat, and more. Artisanal Brooklyn Kura Sake will be served. Please join us in celebrating the ordinary splendor of objects created by anonymous artists and transformed with use and years.
