During NYCxDesign 2025, at the Foscarini Spazio Soho showroom, Foscarini will unveil Allumette, a striking new chandelier designed in collaboration with Francesca Lanzavecchia.
Allumette’s sculptural yet dynamic form achieves compositional equilibrium through asymmetry, balancing lightness and presence by juxtaposing the softness of textile cables with the rigid geometry of its arms. The innovative lighting effect is equally captivating, with transparent luminous elements at the ends of the arms evoking the ethereal glow of a suspended flame.
Allumette redefines the traditional chandelier, continuing Foscarini’s legacy of bold innovation.
