Step beyond the everyday and into CHROMA, a vibrant world of color, texture, and playful exploration! Presented by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York in conjunction with NYCxDesign, this dynamic installation will take place from May 16 to 21, 2025. Curated by Nadja Stäubli, Swiss designer and Creative Director of Sula, CHROMA invites you to experience a dreamlike multisensory realm that blends bold hues, tactile surfaces, and unexpected juxtapositions that captivate the senses.
The materials throughout the space are meant to be touched—each piece reels you in and encourages you to feel its story, bringing you closer to the impeccable craftsmanship and Swiss expertise that define these designs. Discover timeless pieces by atelier oï, Röthlisberger, and USM Modular Furniture, alongside the luxurious textiles of Jakob Schlaepfer. Newly-designed, soft, plush rugs by Sula invite you to linger, while lively curtains sway in the breeze, filling the space with a swirl of color and texture. Fantastic sculptures designed by Nadja Stäubli and produced by the Brooklyn-based design studio TWOSEVEN blur the lines between art and design, offering tangible, playful forms that encourage interaction and spark the imagination.
A journey through CHROMA is one of discovery and connection. It’s a joyful celebration of vibrant colors, playful textures, and immersive experiences. Come touch, feel, and engage with the world of CHROMA, where design knows no bounds.
