On May 16, Space Theory—the sister brand of Henrybuilt, the company that pioneered the first American system kitchen—will debut its first street-level retail showroom in Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood, showcasing its own streamlined version of the system kitchen.
Founded in 2019 by the team behind Henrybuilt, Space Theory was created to deliver a high-performance, streamlined system kitchen to a broader audience. While both brands offer a “more custom than custom” product experience, Henrybuilt’s offerings are tailored for more complex projects that demand meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
The new 8,000-square-foot flagship showroom, located in the iconic Stable Building, will also include a dedicated preview space for Henrybuilt. Space Theory’s showroom will occupy the first floor, while Henrybuilt’s kitchen and home systems will be showcased on the second floor, scheduled to open in fall 2025.
The move to Dumbo reflects both brands’ deep commitment to the neighborhood’s vibrant design community and their shared vision of engaging with design-forward clients.
The Space Theory showroom will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
