Still Growing

May 16 – Jun 9, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Amélie du Chalard invites Emily Marant to curate a design exhibition at her Soho gallery during NYCxDESIGN Week, from May 16 to June 9, 2025.

This exhibition explores the evolving relationship between design and the natural world in a time when permanence has lost its meaning.

Still Growing gathers works that honor the unfinished, the evolving, and the quietly alive. Set within a landscape that evokes both origin and future, the exhibition invites a slower, more contemplative gaze. The works on view suggest that material and function can respond to organic systems rather than control them. Here, the boundary between nature and design is neither fixed nor decorative—it is active, adaptive, and alive.
