On display at the Calico Wallpaper showroom will be the brand’s newest collection, Memoir by PELLE. Jean and Oliver Pelle, founders of PELLE, present their first-ever collection with Calico Wallpaper inspired by the rich textures of the South Korean landscape cultivated by Jean’s childhood memories.

Jean created landscape drawings using oil pastels, a medium she often used as a child in South Korea, to create an original collection for Calico Wallpaper inspired by her childhood. The drawings are based on her father’s old photographs and reconstructed from her most vivid memories of a faraway home. Tall flower beds of pink and white flowers are pictured in the designs, inspired by Cosmos that lined the walking paths and the dense pine forests that Jean used to play in as a child.
