WORKSHOP for the design community to participate in a experiment with pba’s new door hardware addressing sensory sensitivity-inclusion.
10AM – 6PM – WORKSHOP for the design community to participate in a experiment with pba’s new door hardware addressing sensory sensitivity-inclusion. pba collaborates with the University of Venice – IUAV to deepen our understanding of how Tocco Collection conveys the values of inclusivity and sustainability through tertiary-expressive properties. The purpose of the research is to investigate which product features are perceived to be sustainable and inclusive. This study aims to delve into the topic of perceived inclusivity by going beyond the form and the function of the object, seeking more complex answers that investigate the relationship between object and subject through perception and, in particular, tertiary-expressive qualities. Being universal, thus not dependent on age, experience, gender or cultural factors, tertiary-expressive qualities express that very universal characteristic that is the primary goal of inclusivity.
