Poltrona Frau, the esteemed Italian luxury furniture brand, is thrilled to announce the opening of its new flagship store on the iconic Madison Avenue in the vibrant heart of New York City. The store is housed within a historic early twentieth-century building, which now stands as one of the area’s earliest Art Deco masterpieces. Encompassing three levels and covering an impressive 19,000 square feet, the flagship store is one of the largest in the midtown Manhattan design district, showcasing exceptional furnishings and accessories for residential and commercial interior and exterior settings.
The new store aims to become an experiential center, offering guests access to a diverse range of brands including Poltrona Frau, Haworth’s Lifestyle Design Group, and others. It will serve as a hub where clients can immerse themselves in various home settings, creating their ideal living space with artisanal brands like Ceccotti Collezioni and Officine Gullo, as well as the design-forward brand Cappellini.
To commemorate the opening of the new flagship store, Poltrona Frau is launching a limited edition of 50 Boutique Edition Leplì Stools, exclusively available at this location. This special version of the stool pays homage to its original organic shape while embracing a new dimension as it is reimagined with hand-woven wicker.
Exclusively for the US market Poltrona Frau is showing 2024 Imagine Collection: Imagine for Poltrona Frau is continuing to imagine environments to dwell in, spaces for sharing, objects to interact with, to feel good with those around us or simply to relax and reflect.
An contemporary version of the original 1930 armchair, Vanity Fair XC Imagine Edition comes with a decoration based on a unique drawing by Fornasetti.
This unique edition is limited to 50 individually numbered pieces. A select number will be available for pre-order exclusively on the Poltrona Frau e-shop in select European countries. From April 10th, while supplies last, they will be available for order through select stores worldwide after its launch at the 2024 Design Week in Milan.
